Yuccas & Sweet Peas

There is beauty everywhere, even in your own backyard! This painting was created en plein air right here in our yard. To me, scenes like this are visual music. The yucca plants are like two chords interposed with a melody line of staccato sweet peas.

Since I painted this relatively quickly, I can price it as a study—much lower than a regular painting of the same size.
