"Psalm 16:10" by Adam

Andrea and I have a tradition of painting the Easter sunrise to celebrate the Son-rise. However, the weather forecast for Easter Sunday was clouds and rain. So we cheated! I painted the sunset on Good Friday, and Andrea painted the sunset on Saturday. After all, you can celebrate the resurrection any day!

Since I painted mine on Good Friday, the anniversary of Christ's death, I thought Psalm 16:10 would be an appropriate title. In that passage, David says, "…you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay." Long afterward, Acts 2:31–32 revealed this passage was a prophecy about Jesus. Psalm 16:10 also describes God's faithfulness to anyone who trusts in His Son for salvation. This is why we celebrate!
